Website Platform & SEO

Amritha Heritage & Kohinoor Restaurant

Two fast, editorial websites and one shared admin panel, rebuilt from scratch to drive direct bookings and visitors, then twelve months of search growth and hands-on care for both.

Overview

After the culinary project, Amritha Heritage's management engaged TAKE OVER to rebuild the hotel's website from the ground up. The brief was direct: maximise bookings, maximise visitors, and grow income through search. The sites had to load fast and look first-class, and all existing content had to carry over.

The project became a three-application platform built in a single monorepo: the hotel website, a separate website for Kohinoor Restaurant with its own design identity, and a shared staff admin panel that runs both. The hotel wanted full control over its content, so every section of both sites can be edited by staff through the admin panel, backed by Supabase. Layout and design tokens stay in code, so the design can't be broken by an edit.

Booking stays on the hotel's existing ResAvenue engine, embedded directly into the new site. This means no double inventory and no risk to live reservations. Guests also receive WhatsApp messages at key moments of their stay.

Our third engagement with Amritha Heritage is a 12-month SEO and maintenance retainer covering both the hotel and Kohinoor Restaurant websites. It starts on the shared launch date of the two new sites. The work began with an SEO gap review of the hotel's existing web presence, delivered to management, which identified where the hotel was losing search visibility and bookings.

The retainer turns that review into continuous growth. It includes on-page and technical SEO for both sites and a dedicated focus on events SEO, so the hotel ranks for weddings, corporate events and other functions. Ongoing maintenance keeps both platforms fast, secure and up to date.

What we built

  • Hotel website

An editorial design of oxblood on bone, set in Newsreader (display) and Archivo (body), with a single accent colour and signature oxblood pill buttons. It is built for speed and conversion.

  • Kohinoor Restaurant website

A standalone site with its own independent design system, so the restaurant has a distinct brand rather than sitting as a sub-page of the hotel.

  • Shared staff admin panel

One secure dashboard where staff manage the content of both sites.

  • Full section-level content control

Every section is editable in the database (Supabase), while layout and design stay locked in code.

  • Integrated booking

The ResAvenue booking engine is embedded seamlessly, keeping the hotel's existing reservation system and inventory as they were.

  • WhatsApp guest messaging

A welcome message when a guest books, and a review request after checkout that links straight to the hotel's Google review page.

  • SEO-first architecture

Fast server-rendered pages on Next.js and Vercel, structured for search visibility from day one.

  • Monorepo engineering

Three apps share code and tooling through npm workspaces, so the platform is easier to maintain and extend.

  • SEO gap review

An audit of the existing site's search performance, with prioritised recommendations.

  • 12-month SEO programme

Across both the hotel and restaurant websites.

  • Events SEO

Targeted visibility for weddings, corporate events and celebrations, a high-value revenue stream for the hotel.

  • Website maintenance included

Updates, fixes, performance and uptime care for both sites.

  • Branded reporting

Plans and reports delivered as professionally designed TAKE OVER documents.
